My latest commissioned piece - a lady's two West Highland White Terrier dogs. The reference photo was so dark and badly-toned that painting it so that the colours looked natural was quite difficult - a lot of improvisation was required. Nevertheless, my commissioner was pleased with the result, thankfully!
